Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Brooklyn was very serious about her gingerbread house...she wanted it perfect! She sorted all the candy and placed them just right:)

Merry Christmas....this is only the beginning!

'Twas the week before Christmas and all through the house there was hustling and bustling to get Christmas cards out!

I tried very hard to look like my daddy and not smile a bit when the camera was ready!

Then mom broke me down and made me do this...can you believe she made me give this girl a kiss?

There is my Brookie looking so sweet and kind...why can't she be like this all of the time?

And here I am cheesing just as big as can be...guess I am not ready to be exactly like my daddy!

And alas in the end the cards are ready for sending and hopefully people will get them by Christmas Eve-ning (ha...had to rhyme!)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was all about family and friends this year...and we certainly had our fair share of them. Enjoy a couple of the pics!

This is what happens when I am left alone with my daddy!

I am 27 and Brooklyn is 18mths.

I can't believe it 6mths. until my baby girl is 2. She is all I dreamed a daughter would be...rough and ready to play sports in the future, but wants to be a fairy and fly around too. Just like her mommy! Top 10 things I love about her at this age are:

1. She counts like this "eight, eight, eight ,eight" it must be a really memorable number for her:)

2. How she says "Mommy, please"

3. The way she brings me her babies to babysit!

4. She says "sorry" everytime she bites her brother...it's nice and then NOT

5. The way she sits in time-out with all of her dolls laid across the couch in her bedroom and then comes out with a smile on her face....her time-out location has since changed for obvious reasons!

6. Her cute ponytails that she no longer rips out of her hair the first chance she gets...

7. Her smile is to die for and makes your heart melt.

8. Cute things she recognizes like her brother wasn't in the car one day when we were repositioning carseats and she immediately began to scream "Juice! Juice! Go Juice!" trying to get him to join us...we better not leave her brother!

9. The way she dances...she says "shake, shake, shake" and rocks her shoulders up and down!

10. The thing I love the most about her is the way she loves everyone and everyone can't help but to love her. She is the epitome of my girl!

This year was special I turned 27 on the 27th so my husband took me to San Antonio for the weekend. We stayed on the RiverWalk, ate some great Italian food, and just got to be alone for once in a very LONG time. We have since come back to the real world and are back being parents and of course spent alot of time laughing about the kids and their little quirks. I love my hubby...thanks for a great weekend!

It has been extremely long since I blogged but I thought I would catch up with some new changes to my kitchen and some oh so gorgeous pics of my two favorite children!!

Happy 83rd Birthday Grandma!!

This was the last time I saw my Grandma, last summer in California!! I loved being in the Bay and experiencing the "non a/c" living going on up there...very interesting:) God Bless my Grandma, she is one of the funniest and most serious people you will ever meet!
