My kite!!

Today was the perfect day to fly a kite. It was so perfect that the kite decided to fly on its own...and my poor kids went running after it only to realize it wasn't coming back... And all she could say, through many tears, was "MY KITE!!!"...so sad:(

So, we painted!:)

The kids left for the weekend...we took out our paint and paint brushes/rollers and went to work. We painted the living room (as seen in the pics), our master bedroom, and the guest bath! (rest of the pics to follow)....We also replaced our furniture, which was breaking down on us, with a new sectional! I think we like it:)

Let it snow!

Well...it happened! Central Texas, which hasn't seen snow in YEARS, decided to snow when my kids were in Killeen and I was in Pflugerville. Imagine my dismay that my children weren't equipped with their snow gear (hence my sons pink gloves and my daughters large vest/coat, all thanks to cousin Jordan). Where I would have taken 100's of pictures I only have 10:( But, I am thankful I have a few and the next time they say it's going to snow I will attempt to believe the weatherman!!

But mommy...where is my tie?

Everyday, for a week or so...the boy needed his tie. He wore it with everything and it was so much fun while it lasted!:) I secretly hope he will ask for it again soon!!

We can't find our Beds!:)

Well, the bambinos went through a phase a few weeks ago....

It started with the boy sleeping in his toy shelf:) Then the boy and the girl sleeping in a teeny fold out couch....

Finally they made it into the big brothers bed...they have become inseparable:)
