Christmas 2008!

Branson was in the Christmas Program at church and then we went to breakfast at Denny's. We attempted to take Christmas pictures for cards and they did not work out....at all!! It was my Brooklyn's first Christmas and she loved the lights, ornaments, and all the gifts. Branson III loved opening all the gifts and eating cookies. On Christmas Eve we made and decorated cookies; we then made our way around the neighborhood to look at all the lights! It was so much fun:) Then on Christmas Day we woke up and opened up all of our gifts...the kids were so excited!! This was the best Christmas to date...my whole family (minus auntie davina and uncle will) were there....Yay for Christmas!! Happy Birthday JESUS---because of the sacrifice he gave we are able to give to one another on this very special day:)

Below are pictures from Denny's and the church program:)

Of course our failed Christmas pictures would follow....there is always next year!:)Well, this solo pic of Juice is pretty dang cute actually!!

Hey, this one is pretty cute actually!:)....I think I have amazing solo babies!

Time to trim the tree, the little man was in love with this....especially the part where he got to double as he tree topper, Brooklyn just enjoyed watching!

I present to you "The Tree"!:)

Aunt Davina and Uncle Will sent me some pretty awesome shoes but the box it all came in was the best!!

And boy, oh boy, did I love Christmas....hiding out under the tree and stealing bows off of presents was my absolute fave!!

Some people in South Carolina really love me, they bought me this fabulous ensemble!

Yeah baby, it's cookie time!!

But, not before I climb into the fireplace and have a look up the chimney....how is Santa getting down here?????:)

After a Family Prayer it's officially gift time!!

Our little family of four....Man I get tears when I think about where we started to where we are today---to sum it all up, we are Blessed!!

My Auntie and Uncle hit the nail on the head with this gift....I LOVE LAPTOPS---this is no exception; THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

Reflections!

As I reflect on 2008 and how the past three years have been a whirlwind I am so thankful for those who have supported myself and my family. For those who have not been along for the ride from the beginning, let me elaborate. Since 2005 I have graduated college, started my career, moved to a new city, gotten married, had baby #1, bought a new car, then came baby #2, and we built a house! WHAT WERE WE THINKING?? So, 2009 is my year to take care of me and to finally let the world slow down its pace around me:) I know Christmas hasn't gotten here yet but I am thinking about resolving to do some things different (especially not being pregos) this coming year! Have a Merry Christmas everyone I hope you will all be with the ones you love...

Brooklyn at 8 months!!

It is hard to believe that my baby girl has already made 8 months...these months have really flown by and I just can't believe how exciting they have been. Dressing her up and rolling around in the floor with her has been so sweet, therefore I am not looking forward to her terrible-twos!! Here are some things I love about Brooklyn at 8 months old...Only 4 months from ONE:)

1. The way she babbles on and on about who knows what!
2. When she copies my sounds, when I say "sssss" she says "sssss":)
3. The way she wakes me up every morning at roughly the same time and always in enough time to make it to work!!
4. When she gives me kisses!
5. She tackles her brother and slobbers all over him...he doesn't seem to mind a bit.
6. The way her whole face lights up after seeing me...especially when the day has been long and hard!
7. She just got her first two teeth and they are poking out of the bottom of her mouth...now she is on a mission to use them!!
8. She is standing up on her own, in the dead center of the room and laughing like crazy beause she knows that she is doing something pretty special!:)
9. Taking steps and trying to walk before Christmas...she probably won't make it but she sure looks cute trying!
10. The way she looks into my eyes and I know that I am her saving grace, her mommy, and she loves me so much:)
